Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies in the United States is seeking a Project Manager to turn plans into results. You will develop project plans, assemble teams, manage budgets, and communicate with stakeholders to keep work on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of PM experience in construction or equipment sectors, a 4-year engineering or construction degree, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Office 365. This role offers growth, benefits, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management or coordination experience in construction or related industries.
• Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with municipal water/wastewater equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings and detailed engineered specs.

What You'll Do:

• Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining scope, objectives, timelines, budget, resources, and risks.
• Assemble and lead a project team, ensuring the right people with the necessary skills are assigned to the project.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, implement contingency plans as needed.
• Develop and manage the project budget, schedules, track progress and, provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Establish and enforce project quality standards.
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed and meet quality standards.
• Close out the project, documenting lessons learned and sharing insights with the team and stakeholders.

What You'll Need:

• 2+ Years project management or coordination experience with a general contractor, equipment manufacturer or equipment distributor.
• 4-year degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Construction Management preferred, OR equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps and motors); Familiarity with municipal Water / Wastewater equipment, processes, and technology helpful.
• Able to reference, read and interpret detailed engineered specifications and plans including P&ID (piping and instrumentation drawings).
• Highly organized and efficient; Skilled at multitasking and able to effectively manage numerous orders / projects simultaneously.
• Ability to create and modify CAD drawing using AutoCAD and/or similar.
• Fluent with Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, Projects / Planner, etc.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
