Job summary

Oliver Fire Protection & Security, headquartered in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Sprinkler Service team. You will oversee planning, management, and financial outcomes of sprinkler projects, coordinating design drawings, permits, and client satisfaction on-site in the Northeast.

Reporting to the Sprinkler Service Department Manager, you will drive schedules, material procurement, and billing while ensuring compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• 4 years of fire protection or related experience.
• 3 years of project management experience.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Attend on-site project meetings.
• Review contract documents and coordinate with the general contractor/owner and subcontractors to gather the required information for design scope and shop drawing preparation.
• Gather and coordinate all information and documentation needed to obtain project permits.
• Assist superintendents with procuring materials for assigned projects.
• Determine project schedules and ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Coordinate with the shop and service support specialist to ensure material accuracy.
• Expedite information requests and ensure change estimates and change orders are communicated in a timely manner and resolved.
• Provide billing breakdowns and bill jobs monthly in a timely manner to assure payment.
• Generate monthly project reports, including open change orders.
• Manage project punch lists.
• Issue all closeout documents, including certifications and warranties.
• Attend permit close-out meetings.
• Obtain as-built/record documents.
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the department manager.
