Job summary

Oliver Fire Protection & Security in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Project Manager to lead installation and fit-out projects from booking to closeout. You will coordinate customers, contractors, sales, design, operations, accounting and field personnel to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance.

The role focuses on protecting project profitability, installation quality, and customer satisfaction, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and strong communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in a construction-related field.
• Experience reviewing contract documents, project plans, cost reports, and billing.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external teams.
• Preferred college/technical degree.
• Experience in the fire alarm industry.
• NICET Level I or higher certification.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Knowledge of fire alarm installation projects, job costing, materials coordination, billing, change orders, and closeout.

Responsibilities

• Review booking packages with Sales and Design to confirm scope, schedule, and budget.
• Schedule and lead project start-up and wrap-up meetings with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules across multiple priorities.
• Identify and pursue change-order opportunities in coordination with Sales.
• Coordinate technician requirements with Operations and participate in planning meetings.
• Release materials and coordinate ordering/delivery with Operations/Warehouse.
• Prepare timely billing breakdowns and assist AR with collections.
• Monitor job-cost reports and address variances.
• Provide monthly status updates to Accounting for WIP.
• Ensure closeout documents are complete and costs are settled.
• Promote safe work practices, quality installation, and customer satisfaction.

In this role, you'll manage fire alarm installation and fit-out projects from booking through closeout, coordinating customers, contractors, sales, design, operations, accounting, and field personnel to keep projects safe, on schedule, within budget, and compliant with contract requirements.
