Job summary

Golterman and Sabo, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate all aspects of construction projects, manage lead times, obtain client information, procure materials, ensure product quality, and develop shop drawings. Training will cover processes, products, and procedures to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires strong communication, math and technical skills, and teamwork. We are located in Kirkwood, MO, with a history spanning 75 years and employee-owners enjoying stock benefits,

Qualifications

• 2 years of college OR equivalent experience required.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting programs (not required, but helpful).

Responsibilities

• Start in training to learn processes, products, and procedures.
• Contact customers to confirm product requirements.
• Follow-up with client for additional information.
• Figure fabric quantities for purchase orders.
• Enter information into database.
• Create word shop drawings in database.
• Review shop drawings with client.
• Create and check delivery tickets.
• Field measure "installed" jobs.
• Check CAD & word shop drawings.
• Reserve shop time.
• Work on standard drawings and review drawings in AutoCAD.
• Perform material take-offs from bid documents.
• Support other Project Management team members as needed.

Position Summary

We are a subcontractor/manufacturer looking for someone to manage all aspects of our construction projects by coordinating lead times for products, obtaining accurate information from the client, procuring material, ensuring products meet customer expectations, creating shop drawings, and completing all duties in a timely fashion.

• Familiarity with general construction processes, carpentry tools, and conventions (such as measuring, plumb, level, and finish carpentry).
• Ability to acquire needed informed from customers.
