Job summary

ITP (International Talent Partnership) seeks an Electrical Project Manager to oversee complex commercial construction projects in Kansas City from pre-construction through completion. The role requires ownership of budgets, schedules, procurement, and client relationships, with involvement in $5M+ projects.

You will collaborate with field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to deliver safely, profitably, and on time. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial electrical projects valued at $5M+.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction processes and project delivery.
• Proven experience with budgets, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and change orders.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Own budgets, forecasting, scheduling, and financial performance.
• Coordinate procurement, equipment, and material deliveries.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Review progress and identify risks or cost issues.
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear stakeholder communication.
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Support contract administration and negotiate change orders as needed.
• Maintain compliance with electrical codes, safety requirements, and standards.
• Provide regular project updates, financial reporting, and forecasting.
• Drive successful closeout and client satisfaction.

Lead Major Commercial Electrical Projects

A well-established electrical contractor is looking to add an experienced Electrical Project Manager to their team to oversee complex commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of $5M+ electrical projects, working closely with field leadership, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.

The Role

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will have responsibility for the overall commercial and operational management of your projects. You’ll be involved from the early planning stages through final closeout, with significant ownership over budgets, schedules, procurement, change management, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Take ownership of project budgets, forecasting, scheduling, and financial performance
• Coordinate procurement, equipment, and material deliveries
• Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and clients

• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or comparable construction software
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred
