Job summary

LVI Associates in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead complex commercial and industrial electrical projects up to $10M. You will provide overall leadership from pre-construction through closeout and work with superintendents to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, 5–10 years’ experience, strong contract management and cost control skills, and

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Construction field preferred.
  • 5–10 years of electrical construction project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing projects up to $10M in value.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Partner with Superintendents to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance.
  • Review and manage contract scope, project deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Develop project plans, staffing strategies, schedules, and performance objectives.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, GCs, and subs.
  • Negotiate and administer subcontracts and purchase agreements.
  • Oversee project finances: forecasting, cost control, billing, and collections.
  • Manage project schedules and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive profitability through change orders and additional work.
  • Ensure documentation and reporting comply with contract and company standards.
  • Lead project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop Assistant PMs and project staff.

Job description

A leading employee-owned electrical contractor is looking to add an experienced Electrical Project Manager to its growing team. Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and management for electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Partner with Superintendents to ensure successful project execution, safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field preferred
  • 5-10 years of electrical construction project management experience
  • Strong understanding of construction operations, project finances, scheduling, procurement, and contract management
  • Proven experience managing projects up to $10M in value
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with cost control, forecasting, change order management, and negotiations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software
  • OSHA 30 Certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire
  • Ability to lead multiple stakeholders while maintaining project profitability and client satisfaction
