We seek an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead data center construction from preconstruction through closeout, owning budgets, schedules, subcontracts and client relationships.

Requirements: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management; 4+ years in data center PM; strong negotiation and communication skills; knowledge of commercial processes and codes; valid

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 4+ years of project management experience in data center construction.
• Knowledge of commercial construction processes and building codes.
• Experience with budgets, schedules, subcontracts and change orders.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• PE credentials or AGC membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in estimates and prepare budgets and cost reports.
• Lead development of the project management plan.
• Organise pre-award and pre-construction meetings.
• Negotiate subcontracts; manage change orders and costs.
• Develop project schedules and milestones with the superintendent.
• Monitor procurement, safety, quality and risk plans.
• Attend monthly cost reviews and document project status.
• Coordinate closeout procedures including as-built drawings.

This company is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead data center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The role involves taking ownership of budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure the successful delivery of large-scale mission-critical projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of estimates and prepare project budgets and unit cost reports
• Lead the project team in preparing the project management plan
• Organise and conduct pre-award and pre-construction meetings
• Participate in negotiation and preparation of project subcontracts
• Prepare project schedules and develop milestones in concert with the project superintendent
• Manage project materials and equipment procurement within budget constraints
• Develop and monitor project quality, safety, and risk management plans
• Monitor the project site for cost, safety, quality and schedule performance
• Negotiate owner and subcontractor change orders and manage cost and profit impact
• Develop monthly client pay requests and follow up on collection
• Attend and document owner and coordination meetings
• Coordinate all final closeout procedures including as-built drawings and letters of substantial completion
• Participate in monthly job cost reviews to declare project status

Skills/Must Have:

• Minimum 4 years of project management experience within data center construction
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
• In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, building codes, plans and specifications
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontracts and change orders
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's licence
• PE credentials or AGC membership preferred
