Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Special Projects Manager to lead data center operations construction activities in live environments. You will oversee post-construction initiatives including MEP upgrades, capacity expansions, reliability improvements, and complex break-fix projects while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.

You will coordinate with engineering, facilities, operations, and vendors to plan, execute, and closeout projects, ensuring safety, quality, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing complex infrastructure, construction, facilities, or mission-critical projects.
• Experience leading projects within live operational environments such as: Data Centers, Critical Facilities, Utilities, Industrial Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Aviation.
• Strong understanding of critical MEP infrastructure including: Electrical distribution, Generators, Cooling systems, HVAC/CRAH/CRAC, Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Proven experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead multiple concurrent projects.

• Mentor project managers or coordinators while promoting accountability and execution excellence.
