Sagamore is seeking an HVAC and Plumbing Project Manager to lead projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence. You will work with foremen to maximize labor efficiency while sustaining high safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, organizational skills, and a track record of managing complex plumbing/mechanical systems in a construction setting, with MA code knowledge and a collaborative approach to project teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in project management or field operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Establish Project Budget and Schedule of Values.
• Coordinate buyout of materials, equipment, and subcontracts to maintain budget.
• Submit monthly billings and assist with payments collection.
• Provide accurate job cost and cash flow projections.
• Provide manpower projections with the project foreman.
• Review permits, submittals, subcontracts for processing.
• Coordinate material/equipment deliveries to meet schedule.
• Attend project management meetings and site visits.
• Review change order estimates and update schedules weekly.

About the Role - We are currently looking for a HVAC and Plumbing Project Manager to join our team. You must have strong communication and organizational skills to succeed in a multi-team environment. Make sure that projects are completed safely, on time and on budget. Work directly with job foremen to maximize labor while keeping the highest level of safety and quality. Ability to work in a busy environment and adapt to frequent project changes.

Responsibilities

• Establish Project Budget and Project Schedule of Values
• Work in conjunction with purchasing with the buyout of all materials, equipment and subcontracts; utilizing estimate to maintain budget.
• Submit project monthly billings
• Assist with payment collections on applicable projects
• Provide accurate job cost and cash flow projections
• Provide accurate project manpower projections in conjunction with the project foreman
• Review permit documents, submittals, subcontracts and purchase orders for processing
• Coordinate and release material/equipment deliveries to coincide with project schedule requirements
• Attend project management meetings
• Site visits as needed
• Review change order request estimates
• Review and update manpower and schedules weekly
• Work collaboratively with Coordination to prepare coordination schedule
• Resolve contract disputes with vendors, GC’s & subcontractors
• Collaborate with Assistant Project Managers on various aspects of the project
• Schedule and provide owner trainings as needed

• Thorough and advanced knowledge/understanding of Plumbing mechanical systems and the construction industry
