Job summary

Hatched Recruitment Group is seeking a Project Manager for a specialty construction contractor concentrating on doors, frames and hardware in Florida. You will own the project direction, coordinate schedules and budgets, manage RFIs and change orders, and ensure workmanship meets standards.

Responsibilities

• Create a Schedule of Values for pay applications and submit it to the General Contractor.
• Analyze the construction schedule and build schedules for submittals, material ordering, estimated field labor durations and project completion.
• Prepare submittals for doors, frames and hardware from architectural plans and specifications.
• Manage and respond to electronic contractual changes (RFIs, PCs, etc.). Quote changes that affect material and/or labor cost, and send Change Order Due letters to the contractor.
• Issue purchase orders from approved submittals so materials arrive on time for the construction schedule, or as agreed with the contractor for billed and stored material.
• Support the field supervisor so materials arrive in line with the construction schedule. Send updated field drawings regularly to reflect schedule changes and project revisions.
• Provide the monthly pay application to accounting, with backup documentation for stored or FSC materials.
• Pursue contractual Change Orders from "price and proceed" CO Due letters, and take an active role in collecting payment.
• Approve weekly vendor invoices and check vendor costs against purchase orders.
• Handle other duties as needed.

JOB SUMMARY

As Project Manager, you'll own the overall direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of each project. You'll also make sure budgets and deadlines are met and that the work meets project standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to stand and/or sit for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Communicates in a friendly, professional way with customers and team members.
• Builds and maintains good working relationships with management, coworkers and customers.
