Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Illinois, Deerfield, is seeking an Agile Coach/Scrum Master to facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and drive agile maturity across delivery teams.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, quality, and operations, using metrics to boost predictability and cycle time while guiding backlog readiness and outcome-focused planning.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Agile metrics, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitation of planning, daily scrum, reviews, retrospectives, and refinement.
• Impediment, dependency, risk, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with engineering, product, quality, and operations teams.
• Hands-on use of Agile lifecycle and reporting tools.
• Scrum certification preferred; retail, healthcare, or digital experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure clear goals, commitments, and follow-through.
• Coach the team on Scrum values, flow, self-management, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and remove impediments and coordinate cross-team dependencies.
• Use delivery metrics to improve predictability, quality, and cycle time.
• Partner with Product Owners to support backlog readiness and outcome-focused planning.
• Promote transparency through clear reporting of risks, progress, and decisions.
• Support release planning, retrospectives, and organizational Agile maturity.
