Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Schaumburg, IL seeks an experienced Product Owner with 8+ years in IT and 10+ years as BA/PO to drive product strategy in retail pharmacy domain. You will collaborate with PMs, engineers, QA, and design teams to refine features and translate concepts into user stories.

You will decompose features into actionable items, participate in sprint ceremonies, and mentor junior owners while coordinating with remote teams to deliver aligned software solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with SOA concepts.
• 10+ years as BA or Product Owner.
• 5+ years as Product Owner in a technical environment.
• Retail pharmacy domain knowledge or hands-on experience.
• Experience with Microsoft cloud architecture and components.
• Deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum in Product Owner role.
• Proficient in product management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Organize product backlog and participate in agile process.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, QA, designers and others to create apps.
• Mentor Jr. Product Owners and assign work as needed.
• Plan and prioritize backlogs with cross-functional teams.

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with technical understanding of how service oriented architecture works.
• 10+ years’ experience as business analyst or Product Owner
• 5+ years’ experience as a product owner in a technical environment.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience in retail pharmacy domain
• Familiarity on Microsoft cloud architecture and its components
• Deep Familiarity of Agile/Scrum. Experience with Scrum methodology in a Product Owner
• Proficient in product management concepts
• Ability to collaborate with and achieve actionable results through others
• Deep Familiarity with Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience designing A/B tests and analyzing end-user behavioral results
• Capability to interact with all levels of the organization to conduct a collaborative session for feature and user story refinement
• Responsible for decomposing features into under stories, with inputs from Product Managers (PM) and Product Architects (PA).
• Serve as primary Product participant in Agile/Scrum sprint ceremonies
• Actively communicate with Product Managers and remote teams regarding current and future development features
• Organizes product backlog, participates in agile process, proposes product feature sequencing, and engages heavily with management, engineers, QA, designers, and others in the creation of apps.
• Identify cross functional dependencies and work with other teams to sequence development work
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Jr. Product Owners and help assign work as needed

• Regular co-ordination/working with designers/architects for grooming user stories
