Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in the United States seeks an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile software development teams, primarily in Full Stack Java/Spring Boot environments. The role focuses on coordinating Scrum events, backlog management, and release activities to drive delivery with quality.

Responsibilities include facilitating stand-ups, coordinating with multiple teams, defining scope, communicating status to clients, and ensuring alignment with product goals and technical debt

Qualifications

• Experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software development teams, preferably in Full Stack Java/Spring Boot environments.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum framework, Jira, Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog management, stakeholder communication, Release management activities, and Agile metrics is required.
• Good understanding of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, AWS, CI/CD, and software delivery lifecycle is essential to effectively coordinate with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups and support the team in following the Scrum delivery process.
• Able to handle complex full stack technology team.
• Able to handle multiple crews.
• Handle release management activities.
• Handle traditional project management duties including scope definition, staffing, communication of status to clients and partners, and risk issue management.
• Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
• Author user stories, acceptance criteria and execute a portion of the testing on projects. Serve the team and product owner in turning requirements into the working software.
• Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team.
• Collaborate with the team in scheduling work, including defect remediation and refactoring, guarding against the accumulation of technical debt.
• Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements.

Salary Range - $110,000-$120,000 a year
