Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout in Columbus, OH. You will coordinate with field leadership to meet safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets, while mentoring junior team members and guiding subcontractors.

The role demands a Bachelor’s in CM/Engineering, 5+ years of PM experience on ground-up projects, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts and documents.
• Proficiency with construction software including Procore, Bluebeam and Viewpoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Partner with field leadership to ensure safety, schedule, budget and quality.
• Participate in preconstruction estimating, budgeting, subcontractor selection and scope reviews.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts and cost controls.
• Manage subcontractor relationships, negotiations, buyouts and contract administration.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, documentation and reporting.
• Lead project teams and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Manage closeout activities, punch lists and turnover documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Partner closely with field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Participate in preconstruction efforts including estimating, budgeting, subcontractor solicitation, and scope reviews
• Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and cost controls throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage subcontractor relationships, negotiations, buyouts, and contract administration
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, project documentation, and project reporting
• Lead project teams while mentoring and developing Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
• Coordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Manage project closeout activities, punch lists, turnover documentation, and final completion effort

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
• Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and construction documents
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, Procore, and other construction management software
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
