Job summary

MPI, a well established General Contractor in Ohio, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead Columbus area projects across Federal, Data Center, Education and Healthcare sectors. This role offers a clear path to Project Executive and beyond within a team‑driven culture.

You will manage scope, budget and schedule, work with client groups, and coordinate with consultants and contractors while leveraging PM systems and processes.

Job Description

The Project Managers key responsibilities include

• Program and project management
• Oversee and lead some of the most interesting projects in the Columbus area.
• Work closely with client user groups in coordinating their specific requirements.
• Demonstrate a focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner. Proactively manage project-related issues and mitigate risks.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all project management technology as required for assigned projects.
• Develop scope, budget and schedule for assigned projects.
• Conduct and document meetings.
• Interact and negotiate with consultants and contractors

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Project Manager will have

• Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (Not required)
• Previous commercial construction experience
• Proven track record as a Project Manager or APM
• Experience installation, concrete, or steel construction is a plus
• Experience on healthcare, Light Industrial, or education projects is a plus
• Willingness to learn
• Proficient computer skills
