Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks an experienced Project Manager for a Hybrid role in Charlotte, NC, leading planning and execution of utility infrastructure projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and drive safety, compliance, and stakeholder communication across phases from design to turnover.

The role requires 4+ years of PM experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate efforts across engineering, construction, project controls, procurement, legal, operations, environmental, safety, quality, and other business units.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and coordination for internal and external project resources.
• Partner with functional managers to address staffing needs, resource allocation, and conflict resolution.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies.
• Drive project planning activities including estimating, procurement strategies, equipment selection, vendor management, and commissioning plans.
• Identify project risks and establish mitigation strategies to support successful project execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards.
• Monitor project performance, manage changes, and maintain accountability for project outcomes.
• Oversee project activities from detailed design through construction, startup, commissioning, turnover, and warranty management.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders at all levels.
• Lead project meetings, status reviews, and progress reporting.
• Prepare and present project updates to leadership and governance teams.
• Ensure project documentation and reporting are maintained in accordance with established Project Management standards.

Project Manager | Hybrid (3 days onsite) Charlotte, NC

Pay Rate: $55/hr - $60/hr

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the planning and execution of multiple utility infrastructure projects. This position is responsible for managing all phases of project development and execution while ensuring project objectives related to scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, environmental compliance, communication, and stakeholder engagement are achieved.

Responsibilities:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Utility industry experience.
• Experience supporting substation and/or transmission line projects.
• Knowledge of project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or similar platforms.
• Experience with financial and project controls systems such as EcoSys, PowerPlan, Maximo, or related tools.
• Understanding of project lifecycle management, construction execution, and capital project delivery.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
