Job summary

Power Plumbing invites an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects in the Austin area. You will plan, schedule, budget, and coordinate with general contractors and internal teams to deliver high-quality results on time and on budget.

The role combines office planning with field visits, requires strong organizational and communication skills, and involves maintaining relationships with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience in construction or related trade.
  • Strong knowledge of POC accounting/revenue recognition.
  • Proven experience working for or with subcontractors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Foundation ERP, MS Project).

Responsibilities

  • Review contracts, drawings and specs to plan projects.
  • Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, engineers and internal departments.
  • Oversee field teams ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.
  • Monitor progress and document resolutions and issues.
  • Track material orders and deliveries with purchasing.

Job Title

Project Manager

Position Overview

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, materials, and communication with general contractors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
  • Review project contracts, drawings, and specifications
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, and internal departments
Execution & Oversight
  • Coordinate with field teams and internal departments to ensure quality, safety, and productivity
  • Monitor project progress, identify and communicate issues quickly, document resolutions
  • Coordinate with purchasing to monitor and track key material orders and deliveries
Budget & Documentation
  • Prepare and track cost estimates, change orders, and invoicing
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and logs
  • Monitor job costs against budget and forecast future costs
Communication & Relationship Management
  • Serve as a point of contact for general contractors and clients
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members
Qualifications
Required
