The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction-related projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while building strong relationships with contractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and timelines.
- Plan, organize, and execute project activities to support successful project completion.
- Vet contractors, review proposals, and negotiate estimates.
- Monitor contractor performance and hold contractors accountable for quality, safety, and deadlines.
- Ensure all projects meet company standards and quality expectations.
- Maintain accurate project records, documentation, permits, and reporting.
- Track and organize project files and supporting documentation.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors, city inspectors, contractors, and colleagues.
- Travel to project sites to monitor progress and provide project updates.
- Identify and resolve project issues, risks, and obstacles as they arise.
- Communicate project status and recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of project management experience.
- Construction industry experience preferred.
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
