Qualifications

• 3+ years of project coordination or project management experience supporting cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to build project plans, schedules, action logs, and RAID logs.
• Experience tracking internal hours and effort against approved budgets.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel for reporting.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Planner.
• Hands-on experience using AI-enabled tools for documentation or reporting.
• Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Job description

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Project Manager for a 3-month contract role based in Atlanta, Georgia to support the delivery of cross-functional technology and transformation initiatives. In this role, you will bring structure to project activities by building timelines, tracking hours against estimates, managing RAID logs, and driving accountability across internal teams and external partners. You must be comfortable collecting stakeholder inputs, identifying delivery bottlenecks, and escalating blockers early.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, critical paths, and implementation timelines.
• Monitor internal hours and vendor effort against approved estimates; flag capacity constraints and financial variances early.
• Lead project meetings, document decisions, and proactively follow up on overdue actions to maintain delivery momentum.
• Prepare project status updates, dashboards, meeting recaps, and leadership materials for stakeholder visibility.
• Own the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) to ensure continuous visibility into project health.
• Coordinate third-party deliverables, track timelines, and monitor vendor performance against project objectives.
• Use AI-enabled tools to optimize project planning, automate meeting summaries, and improve risk identification.
• Ensure all AI tool utilization strictly aligns with enterprise data protection, privacy, and confidentiality policies.
