Job summary

FITS LLC in Puerto Rico is seeking a Project Manager for Purified Water Systems Construction and Installation projects. The position focuses on planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, on-time installations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering with 7+ years in regulated industries (Medical Devices/Pharma), is bilingual in Spanish and English, and can lead CQ activities while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of PM experience in regulated industry.
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Lead construction and installation of purified water systems.
  • Coordinate construction of utility rooms and building modifications.
  • Manage contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) activities.
  • Monitor project progress with MS Project and report status.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate communication among engineering, operations, quality, validation, and leadership.
  • Ensure proper project closeout including documentation and lessons learned.

  • Develop and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies for purified water system projects.
  • Lead the construction and installation of new purified water systems and related infrastructure.
  • Coordinate the construction of utility rooms and building modifications required to house new equipment and systems.
  • Manage contractors, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Oversee Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) activities and ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor project progress using MS Project and provide status updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to minimize impact on scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate communication among engineering, operations, quality, validation, and leadership teams.
  • Ensure proper project closeout, including documentation, lessons learned, and stakeholder approvals.
