Job summary

Lockheed Martin's Sikorsky Aerostructures Product Center in Troy seeks a Project Coordinator Lead to drive continuous improvement across operations. You will apply Lean Six Sigma to identify changes, coordinate critical projects, and lead teams toward measurable gains in productivity and quality.

You’ll partner with multiple departments, set milestones, monitor progress, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of Production System initiatives while fostering a culture of learning and adaptation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equiv. with 5 years of professional exp; or 4 years with related Master's degree.
  • Familiar with Lean Six Sigma principles and process improvement.
  • Experience with data analytics, data mining, and workflow analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage projects across multiple teams and deliver on time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages operational aspects of ongoing projects; liaises between PM, planning, line mgmt.
  • Reviews project/budget status; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
  • Develops monitoring mechanisms for project progress and intervention with PMs and stakeholders.
  • Delivers all Production System projects on time and to quality standards.
  • Maintains and ensures adherence to project milestone plans.
  • Sets clear expectations for project content review and delivery support.
  • Maintains continuity between projects reflecting new tools and CI initiatives.
  • Facilitates team meetings and manages deliverables.

THE WORK

As a Project Coordinator Lead within the Continuous Improvement team, you will be integral to enhancing productivity, efficiency, and product quality. In this role, you’ll utilize methodologies like Lean Six Sigma to identify and implement changes that drive measurable results. You’ll coordinate and oversee critical projects across departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and instilling a mindset of constant learning and adaptation within our teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
  • Familiar with lean Six Sigma Principles
  • Comprehension of analytical tools, workflow time studies, and project management
  • Familiar with databases, data mining, and data analytics

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
