Organic Valley in La Farge, Wisconsin offers a 12-week Summer Internship from May 31 to August 20, 2027. The role is hybrid, onsite 3-5 days a week with optional remote days, and pays $20 per hour for 40 hours per week.

The Project Management Intern will assist with coordinating activities, tracking timelines, maintaining documentation, and preparing status reports, while gaining exposure to cooperative farming operations and leadership across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education with one year or less from graduation required.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs required.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and responsibilities effectively.
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Interest in organic and working with farmers and cooperative business model preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities and administrative tasks.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, risks, and action items.
  • Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, and distribute meeting notes.
  • Communicate updates to project stakeholders and team members.
  • Support issue resolution and escalation processes.
  • Maintain project plans, dashboards, and status reports.
  • Assist with project documentation, governance, and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and organize project materials that support visibility, accountability, and decision-making.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the development and adoption of project management best practices across the team.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve project execution.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Location – Thisis a hybrid role, which means that you will have the flexibility to work bothonsite and at a distance. You will collaborate onsite at our La Farge, WI office for 3-5days per week, and therest of the time you can choose to work remotely or onsite.

Summary of Role

The Project Management Intern will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of projects by coordinating activities, tracking timelines and deliverables, facilitating communication, maintaining project documentation, and assisting with status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement to help ensure successful project outcomes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
