Job summary

AVT Simulation in Orlando seeks a Project Logistics Analyst to oversee supply chain processes and product delivery by tracking invoices, shipment status, and delivery routes, while interfacing with the Corporate Manufacturing/Production/Purchasing department.

You will collect and analyze logistics data, maintain databases, monitor product flow from origin to delivery, and identify improvements to maximize delivery efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Finance, SCM, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Previous experience in logistics field.
• Knowledge of shipping and distribution channels.

Responsibilities

• Collect, interpret, and analyze logistics data including availability of product and reliability of transport.
• Maintains database(s) of logistics information.
• Tracks product flow from origin to delivery via logistics systems.
• Reviews processes; identifies and implements improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyzes transportation costs, procurement, inventory issues and fulfillment metrics.
• Monitors warehouse inventory transactions and integrity.
