Job summary

AVT Simulation in Orlando, FL is seeking a Production Assistant to support manufacturing by gathering, organizing, preparing, and delivering materials for production. You will ensure kits are complete and correctly identified to support scheduled manufacturing activities.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while following safety, quality, and inventory procedures. Familiarity with ERP or inventory systems is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to read and follow written work orders and documentation.
Basic math skills (counting, basic operations).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy required.
Ability to organize materials and prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Review production orders, work instructions, pick lists, and material requirements.
Pull and gather materials, components, hardware, and supplies.
Verify part numbers, quantities, and descriptions for kit accuracy.
Assemble and organize production kits.
Label and identify kits and materials.
Deliver completed kits to designated areas in a timely manner.
Maintain organized staging and kitting areas.
Identify shortages or discrepancies and notify supervisor.
