Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Two years of professional engineering experience for Associate Engineer.
• Four years of professional civil engineering experience for Senior Engineer, including one year of project management.

Responsibilities

• Prepares engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for public works projects.
• Reviews plans and specifications for compliance with standards and regulations.
• Manages engineering projects; coordinates with consultants and contractors; ensures timely delivery.
• Meets with staff, external agencies, and the public to ensure project requirements are understood.
