Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking a Project Civil Engineer for its Irvine/Los Angeles, CA team. The role coordinates planning, design and permitting of civil, land development and infrastructure projects, and includes coaching staff.

You will work on healthcare, education, commercial, and mixed-use projects with a collaborative team of engineers. The position requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a valid PE license, and 6+ years of site/civil experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Valid Professional Engineer license is required.
• 6+ years of site/civil land development experience.
• Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations.
• Strong client development and communication skills; ability to win new work.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning, design and permitting of civil/land development projects and coordinate with clients.
• Design site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure and SWPPP from concept through completion.
• Develop new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines; monitor timelines and budgets.
• Prepare and review reports, feasibility studies, and technical specifications.
• Provide hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and SWPPP preparation.
• Collaborate with leadership to grow the practice and optimize staff utilization.
• Perform other duties as requested.
