Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives within a dynamic health-plan environment. You will manage end-to-end projects, collaborating with nurses, pharmacists, data analysts, and auditors to ensure timely, within-scope outcomes.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential as you partner with executives and sponsors to define scope, governance, and success factors.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of project management experience coordinating resources, schedules, and delivery.
• Strong client-facing and relationship-management skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Proven ability to develop and manage end-to-end project plans balancing priorities, deadlines, risks, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead small- to mid-scale projects from inception through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, quality, schedule, and cost.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including milestones, priorities, dependencies, resources, deliverables, and implementation activities.
• Identify, track, mitigate, and elevate risks, issues, decisions, and project gaps, developing contingency plans and corrective actions.
• Direct cross-functional teams and subject-matter experts to achieve project objectives.
• Partner with Executive Sponsors and Client Relationship Owners to define requirements, scope, governance, approval processes, quality standards, and critical success factors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, sponsors, and vendors.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while coordinating requirements, implementation schedules, post-implementation plans, vendor deliverables, and service-level expectations.
• Provide accurate and transparent project status reporting and executive communications, including presentations and follow-up documentation.
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings to identify trends, perform root-cause analysis, and establish corrective actions.
