Job summary

Rang Technologies Inc. seeks a Website Modernization Project Lead to drive a large-scale public-sector website redesign from Jackson, MS. This is an onsite role focused on end-to-end execution, content migration, UAT, accessibility, and launch readiness.

The ideal candidate will own day-to-day delivery of a Drupal-based redevelopment, manage stakeholders and vendors, govern content workflows, and build durable governance and change-management processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale Drupal website redevelopment or modernization projects for public-sector websites.
• Ability to coordinate external vendors and internal program teams to align on scope and deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of ADA Title II and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and remediation work.
• Experience driving content migration, audits, and migration execution, including UAT and launch readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of a large-scale Drupal-based website redevelopment.
• Drive content strategy, information architecture, and editorial direction.

• Track risks, decisions, dependencies, and project status.
• Lead large-scale website redesign/redevelopment projects (100+ pages).
• Hands-on experience with website implementation, migration, or redevelopment.
• Collaborate with external vendors and professional services firms.

We’re looking for a Website Modernization Project Lead to drive a large-scale public-sector website redesign and modernization initiative.

This is not just a content role. We need someone who can own day-to-day execution, coordinate stakeholders and vendors, drive content migration, manage UAT, and ensure the new website is accessible and launch-ready.

What You’ll Own

• Lead day-to-day execution of a large-scale Drupal-based website redevelopment
• Drive content strategy, information architecture, and editorial direction
• Lead content audits, migration planning, and migration execution
• Coordinate with external technology vendors and internal program teams
• Lead QA, UAT, launch readiness, and post-launch activities
• Drive ADA Title II / WCAG 2.1 AA compliance and accessibility remediation
• Build and implement a sustainable web governance framework
• Develop SOPs, workflows, training materials, and change-management processes
• Facilitate content workshops, stakeholder meetings, and review sessions
• Track risks, decisions, dependencies, and project status
• Led or played a significant execution role in large-scale website redesign/redevelopment projects (100+ pages)
• Multiple website development lifecycles -- from planning through production launch
• Hands-on experience with website implementation, migration, or redevelopment
• Experience working directly with external technology vendors/professional services firms
• Working knowledge of ADA Title II and WCAG accessibility standards
• Experience creating or implementing web governance, content workflows, or digital change management
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, documentation, and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Medicaid, healthcare, human services, or state health agency experience
• Tyler Technologies or comparable CMS experience
• Smartsheet forms, workflows, or automation experience
• CPACC, WAS, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, CBAP, or equivalent experience
