Job summary

Sundt Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project HSE Manager to lead safety on complex projects. The role progresses through Steps I, II, and Sr, developing increasingly autonomous management of safety for medium to large projects.

Responsibilities include safety walks, orientations, and plan development for Environmental and Safety Management. The role emphasizes strong communication, integrity, and proficiency with MS Office on a dynamic, owner-employee culture.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication; timely reporting of incidents.
• Able to interpret safety regulations and apply them on-site.
• Proactive safety resource for project team and stakeholders.
• Strong integrity in incident reporting and policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent safety walks/inspections on the project and adjacent property.
• Provide site-specific safety orientations.
• Create, update, and maintain the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Create, update, and maintain the Project Safety Management Plan.
• Facilitate the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual.
• Manage emergencies, incidents, and workers' compensation claims.
• Review and file project safety documentation.
