Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants seeks a Project-level GIS Specialist to join our Southwest GIS team. Based in Las Vegas, the role supports Nevada and the Southwest, providing maps, data, and technical support for construction and environmental projects.

You will manage GIS deliverables, coordinate with project managers and field staff, and contribute to compliance monitoring and data workflows across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography/Environmental Science, or GIS certificate.
• 3 years GIS experience post-education in a professional setting.
• Experience as GIS professional in environmental consulting.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, geoprocessing, spatial analysis, and cartographic design.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects or tasks from start to finish with technical proficiency.
• Perform complex geoprocessing, modeling, and spatial analysis with SME guidance.
• Produce cartographic-quality maps using templates and standards.
• Manage large data sets and organize geospatial databases.
• Coordinate QA/QC of GIS data and provide timely documentation.
