Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Geospatial Analyst in Sacramento, CA to join our Environmental Services GIS team. You will act within an ESRI environment, delivering mapping, spatial analysis, and data production while supporting field data collection and QA/QC processes.

You will collaborate with 160+ geospatial professionals, mentor junior staff, and contribute to project delivery across the US West group. A Bachelor’s in GIS or related field and 2–3 years of GIS services experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field with GIS training.
• 2-3 years of professional GIS experience required.
• Experience delivering GIS products for environmental/CEQA projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain spatial and non-spatial data for ESRI ArcGIS platforms.
• Produce web maps, dashboards, and data management for field surveys.
• Support field data collection and ensure QA/QC of geospatial data.
• Collaborate with GIS staff across offices and report to the US West Geospatial Team Lead.
• Mentor and provide project support for assigned tasks.
