Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Geologist or Environmental Scientist to join our Environmental Services team in Seattle, Bellevue, or Lynnwood, Washington. This role will support environmental assessment, investigation, and remediation projects at a variety of urban, industrial, and redevelopment sites throughout the Pacific Northwest.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of environmental consulting experience with a focus on contaminated site investigation and remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, environmental science, chemistry, or related STEM.
• 3–7 years of environmental site investigation, remediation, and regulatory compliance.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and 8-hour refresher.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities with client representatives, facility personnel, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee field activities, including equipment procurement and mobilization.
• Log soil samples and prepare detailed boring logs.
• Plan monitoring well installation and maintenance.
• Prepare health and safety plans and project documents.
