Job summary

Stantec seeks a Project Geologist or Environmental Scientist to join our Environmental Services team in WA. The role supports site investigations, remediation, and MTCA-related work across the Pacific Northwest with a mix of field and office duties.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years in environmental consulting, OSHA HAZWOPER training, and a relevant STEM degree. Travel and field work are required, with opportunities for project leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in environmental site investigation and remediation.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and refresher.
• WA Geologist licensure preferred or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities with clients, regulators, and teams.
• Oversee field activities, equipment mobilization and sampling.
• Prepare and review health and safety, QA plans, and permits.
• Log soil samples and develop boring logs.
• Communicate findings and contribute to technical reports.
