Job summary

TAIT is seeking a Senior Project Finance Business Partner to serve as a trusted financial advisor to Producing, Production, and Operations teams on complex service and production-led projects. The role focuses on validating forecasts, margins, and risks, while maintaining independent financial discipline across dynamic client-driven environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 8+ years in project-based or production environments.
• Experience in project finance, commercial finance, project accounting, or project controls.
• Proven experience conducting site visits and project valuations (e.g., percent complete, earned value, cost-to-complete).
• Strong understanding of contract structures, terms and revenue recognition.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP and project costing systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate project financial forecasts, including contract value, revenue, cost-to-complete, and margin assumptions.
• Challenge underlying assumptions, ensuring alignment with contract terms, scope, delivery plans, and vendor commitments.
• Identify financial risks, gaps, and inconsistencies, escalating issues early and clearly.
• Act as a primary finance partner to Producers and project teams from award through closeout.
• Monitor actual performance vs forecast and investigate material variances.
