WSP USA is seeking a Project Financial Advisor to partner with project delivery teams and drive disciplined financial stewardship across the project lifecycle. You will support budgeting, revenue recognition, and risk assessment while aligning with enterprise objectives.

The role emphasizes financial planning, contract compliance, and collaborating with PMs to optimize margins and manage working capital across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or closely-related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of project finance or commercial finance experience in engineering, construction, or professional services.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; experience with ERP tools (Oracle) is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerBI or other data visualization tools.
• Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, and revenue recognition processes.
• Experience supporting multi-project portfolios with forecasting and reporting accountability.

Responsabilités

• Contribute as a financial partner to Project Managers, ensuring adherence to financial terms.
• Provide guidance on project setup, including budgeting, WBS, and pricing inputs.
• Advise on project financial planning and risk identification.
• Review labor structures and rate optimization opportunities to improve margins.
• Advise on project funding, billing methods, and contract compliance.
• Monitor work in progress, revenue recognition, and KPIs to support performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address escalations and process improvements.
