Zusammenfassung

Reef Capital seeks a Project Financial Controller to oversee financial management, reporting, and accounting for its real estate development portfolio. You will ensure accuracy, manage loan draw packages, and provide timely reporting to development operations and corporate accounting teams.

You will serve as the senior financial presence on project teams, safeguarding financial integrity of expenditures and reports to enable informed development decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA is a plus.
• Prior experience in project-level accounting or financial control, ideally in real estate development or construction.
• Knowledge of construction loan draw processes, lien waivers, and lender compliance documentation.
• Strong budgeting, cost-to-complete, and budget-to-actual reporting.
• Audit-ready documentation and strong organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Oversee project-level financial reporting including monthly cost-to-complete, budget-to-actual, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial data provided to Development Operations.
• Manage preparation and submission of construction loan draw packages with lender requirements.
• Review and approve contractor and vendor invoices for accuracy, compliance, and proper coding.
• Maintain project budget tracking; identify variances, scope changes, and risks; reconcile with the Development Operations Manager.
• Ensure all financial documentation is organized and compliant with financing agreements and audits.
• Coordinate lien waiver collection and compliance tracking.
• Supervise Project Accountant(s) and AP Clerk(s) on the project.
• Collaborate with Development Operations Manager, Sr. Development Controller, Cash Committee, and corporate accounting for alignment.
