Reef Capital in Lehi, Utah, seeks a Project Financial Controller to oversee project-level financial management, reporting, and accounting across the development portfolio. This role ensures accuracy and controls, coordinates construction loan draws, and provides financial visibility for development decisions.

The position supports Development Operations, corporate accounting, and lenders, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required or related field.
• Experience in project-level accounting or financial control in real estate development preferred.
• Strong understanding of budget tracking and cost-to-complete reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project-level financial reporting including cost-to-complete, budget-to-actual, and cash flow reports.
• Manage construction loan draw packages and ensure documentation complies with lender requirements.
• Review and approve contractor and vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain project budget tracking and variance analysis; coordinate with the Development Operations Manager on reconciliations.
• Coordinate lien waiver collection and compliance tracking.
• Supervise Project Accountant(s) and AP Clerk(s) on the project.
