Job summary

Mizuho in New York seeks a Project Finance professional to originate and execute non-recourse and limited recourse financings in Natural Resources and Power & Infrastructure. You will prepare marketing materials, call on clients, and coordinate with internal partners to win mandates.

You will develop relationships with top developers, perform financial analysis and cash flow modeling, and work closely with Investment Banking and Financial Sponsors to cross-sell deposits, derivatives and debt

Qualifications

MBA, MS or LLM degree with strong quantitative background.
2-4 years of experience in Project Finance.
1 year of credit experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Originate and execute non-recourse project finance transactions in Natural Resources and Power & Infrastructure.
Develop relationships with top tier and emerging developers active in NR and P&I space.
Marketing for new business origination.
Work closely with internal partners across Capital Markets including Debt/Equity Capital Markets, Financial Sponsors, Rates/Derivatives, Risk.
Liaise with Project Finance colleagues around the world.
Prepare credit applications and other internal documents; obtain approvals.
