Mizuho Financial Group Inc. is seeking a Project Finance professional in the Americas to play a key role in structuring, originating and executing non-recourse project finance transactions in Natural Resources and Power & Infrastructure.

You will develop relationships with top-tier developers and collaborate with internal partners across Capital Markets and Risk to originate new opportunities. The role involves preparing marketing materials, presenting to clients, negotiating mandates, and

Qualifications

• MBA, MS or LLM degree with strong quantitative background or relevant work experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in Project Finance.
• 1 year of credit experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Establish a foundation in natural resources, renewables, digital infrastructure, energy transition and power markets.
• Prepare marketing materials and proposals, call on clients, attend bank meetings.
• Negotiate for mandates and structure transactions with clients.
• Prepare credit applications and develop cash flow models.
• Collaborate with Investment Banking and Financial Sponsors to originate opportunities.
• Cross-sell other Mizuho financial services.
