Job summary

The Global Law Firm in Houston seeks a mid-level Project Finance Associate to support its Energy Transition practice. You’ll work on financings across power and infrastructure with renewables focus, taking real ownership early on.

Ideal candidates have project finance experience, familiarity with renewables and tax credit structures, top academics, and strong drafting and client-relations skills. Texas bar eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Class of 2023 or later with project finance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with renewables and tax credit structures a real plus.
• Top academic credentials and excellent drafting skills.
• Strong client relations skills.
• Eligible to practice law in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Handle construction and term loan financings for solar, wind, storage and infrastructure projects.
• Work on tax equity and tax credit transfer structures.
• Represent banks, sponsors and project companies across the deal lifecycle.
• Prepare collateral packages and closing mechanics for secured financings.
• Contribute to broader corporate finance work with an energy focus.
