• Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical with good communication skills.

We are seeking a Project Financial Analyst to manage accounts receivable with a focus on project-based finance. This role goes beyond routine transaction processing. You will support projects from launch through completion, managing project receivables alongside company receivables, monitoring project status, and forecasting invoicing and cash receipt.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoice generation and distribution, payment validation, ERP transaction recording, and follow-up through to collection
• Establish project billing structures and receivables tracking for new projects from inception
• Manage both project and company receivables
• Monitor project status and milestones to forecast invoicing timing and cash receipt, identifying risks and delays early
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare weekly cash flow and accounts receivable reporting
• Partner with project managers, Sales, and leadership on the financial health of active projects
• Resolve billing and payment discrepancies with customers and internal departments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, project accounting, or financial analysis; experience in a project-based or manufacturing environment is preferred
• ERP system experience and strong Excel skills
• Solid foundation in accounting principles
• Ability to serve as a financial partner to project teams, not solely as a transaction processor
• Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical, with strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing environment experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (AX, Dynamics 365, or Great Plains)
