Job summary

Piping Technology & Products, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Expeditor to support on-time delivery by tracking materials, drawings, fabrication, inspections, and shipments through order entry to final delivery.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Shipping teams, identify risks, expediting items as needed, and maintain accurate status updates for customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Supply Chain, or related field.
• At least two years of project expediting or related manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Track assigned projects, purchase orders, materials, drawings, fabrication activities, inspections, and shipments against schedules.
• Maintain expediting logs, milestone trackers, open-item lists, and status reports with current information.
• Follow up with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality Control, Shipping, and other departments for updates.
• Identify schedule risks, material shortages, and bottlenecks; elevate concerns to the Project Manager.
• Expedite vendor drawings, approvals, materials, and subcontracted services to meet delivery dates.
• Coordinate priority and rush orders balancing project requirements and capacity.
• Prepare progress reports and participate in status meetings, documenting action items.
• Support shipping readiness with inspections, documentation, and delivery information.
• Communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, and customers and perform additional duties.
