Project Executive | Ground-up Residential Construction

Leading New York City General Contractor with a strong track record and a pipeline of projects. Focused on new construction, residential, and hospitality projects throughout the city, they are seeking a skilled Project Executive | Ground-up Residential Construction to join their growing team.

This role involves:

1. Evaluating job information for completeness, design intent, and compliance with local codes, and obtaining clarifications from the design team.
2. Monitoring project expenses and adjusting to avoid budget overruns.
3. Managing relationships with subcontractors and ownership.
4. Planning, documenting, executing, and managing projects through all phases including close-out.
5. Ensuring proper production completion by maintaining contact with production personnel and clients.
6. Securing all necessary permits and licenses before project start.
7. Reviewing and coordinating shop drawings, submittals, and other activities for proper fit of elements.
8. Conducting post-project evaluations for continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Bachelor's degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
2. Master's degree is a plus.
3. Proven track record in ground-up residential projects in New York City/Brooklyn.
