Job summary

ReKinect is seeking a Project Executive to lead the delivery of utility-scale solar projects. This role is remote with travel up to 50% to support project teams and operations. You will drive end-to-end execution, mentor project management teams, and oversee financials, schedules and procurement.

The ideal candidate brings proven EPC leadership, strong communication, and a track record of delivering complex construction programs safely and profitably.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading project execution within utility-scale solar/EPC environments.
• Experience overseeing portfolios of 100MW+ solar projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership and development of senior project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid understanding of project financials, scheduling, and construction operations.
• Track record of delivering complex projects safely, efficiently and profitably.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

ReKinect is partnering with an established EPC contractor to identify an experienced Project Executive to lead project execution across a portfolio of major utility-scale solar projects.

This is an opportunity for a proven construction leader to take ownership of project delivery, provide strategic direction to project teams and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently and profitably. The position offers a remote working arrangement, with travel of up to 50% to support project teams and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight across a portfolio of utility-scale solar and electrical construction projects.
• Drive project execution from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Lead, mentor and develop project management teams, promoting accountability and high performance.
• Monitor project financials, forecasting, budgets, margins and overall commercial performance.
• Oversee project schedules, resource allocation, procurement and subcontractor coordination.
• Work closely with operational leadership and key stakeholders to resolve project challenges and maintain delivery objectives.
• Establish consistent project controls, reporting processes and execution standards across the portfolio.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing solutions to minimise delays, cost overruns and operational disruption.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Champion health, safety, quality and compliance across all project activities.

Desired Experience

• Proven experience leading project execution within utility-scale solar, electrical construction or a related EPC environment.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing a portfolio of utility-scale solar projects, ideally involving projects of 100MW or greater.
• Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing and developing senior project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• A strong understanding of project financials, commercial management, scheduling and construction operations.
• A track record of delivering complex construction projects safely, efficiently and profitably.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as required.
