Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight across multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams.
• Maintain accountability for project budgets, schedules, profitability, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for owners and key project stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Partner with preconstruction teams on estimating, conceptual budgeting, constructability, logistics, and project strategy.

Project Executive – Commercial Construction | Phoenix, AZ

Our client is a highly respected, 100% employee-owned commercial general contractor with a long-standing presence in the Arizona construction market and an exceptional reputation for project delivery, company culture, and employee development.

With a strong pipeline of work across commercial, industrial, healthcare, municipal, and other major building sectors, the business is continuing to expand its operations team and is seeking an experienced Project Executive to help lead complex projects, develop project teams, and strengthen key client relationships.

This opportunity is also open to high-performing Senior Project Managers who are ready to take the next step into a Project Executive position.

The Project Executive will provide senior-level oversight across multiple commercial construction projects, taking responsibility for overall project performance, client relationships, operational strategy, and the development of project teams.

Working closely with preconstruction, operations, field leadership, and executive management, this individual will ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will combine strong commercial or industrial construction experience with the leadership and client-facing capabilities required to oversee teams and build long-term relationships.

• Provide executive oversight across multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Superintendents, and supporting project teams
• Maintain accountability for project budgets, schedules, profitability, quality, and overall performance
• Serve as a senior point of contact for owners and key project stakeholders
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
• Partner with preconstruction teams on estimating, conceptual budgeting, constructability, logistics, and project strategy
• Review project financials, forecasting, cost reports, change management, and overall project risk
• Support teams in resolving complex operational, contractual, and technical challenges
• Ensure projects maintain company standards around safety, quality, and client satisfaction
• Participate in business development efforts and help identify opportunities for repeat and negotiated work
• Support the continued development and growth of the operations team

• Proven experience successfully delivering large and complex commercial construction projects
• Strong understanding of preconstruction, estimating, scheduling, cost management, and field operations
• Ability to oversee multiple project teams and competing priorities
• Track record of developing and mentoring construction professionals
• Excellent commercial, communication, and leadership capabilities
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Sage, and Microsoft Office preferred
