Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Strong background in preconstruction and design coordination.
• Experience overseeing budgets, forecasting, and cost control.
• Conceptual estimating and budget development experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight across multiple commercial projects from preconstruction to completion.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, trade partners, and stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, schedules, and change management to ensure delivery.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining quality and profitability.
• Support pursuits, budgeting, and handovers with Preconstruction and Estimating teams.
• Contribute to long-term business planning through resource allocation and staffing.
• Establish project standards, reporting processes, and accountability across teams.

I'm currently representing a highly respected, employee-owned General Contractor in the Phoenix market that is looking to appoint a Project Executive to oversee multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

This is a leadership position responsible for driving project success, mentoring project teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight across multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, trade partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and change management to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining quality and profitability.
• Partner with Preconstruction and Estimating teams to support pursuits, budgeting, and seamless project handovers.
• Support long-term business planning through resource allocation, staffing, and pipeline management.
• Establish project standards, reporting processes, and accountability across project teams.
