Calqulate Metrics Ltd is seeking a senior healthcare construction project leader in Denver. You will manage complex hospital projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, and maintain strict infection control and life-safety standards while coordinating with owners, architects, and engineers.

The role emphasizes preconstruction support, business development, and delivering projects in occupied clinical environments with minimal patient disruption. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver healthcare construction projects with strong process, scheduling, and project controls.
• Manage projects and lead teams on hospitals, medical office buildings, and clinical facilities.

• Coordinate projects in occupied healthcare environments with minimal disruption to patient care.
• Support preconstruction and business development in healthcare.
• Lead meetings such as OAC and monthly status reviews.

Position Description

This position is highly desirable for those individuals who:

Key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver successful healthcare construction projects through strong process, scheduling, and project controls.
• Manage projects and lead teams on hospitals, medical office buildings, and clinical facilities
• Communicate effectively with owners, architects and engineers
• Coordinate projects in occupied healthcare environments, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care
• Support of the preconstruction team
• Support business development efforts including RFP responses and client interviews in the healthcare sector
• Lead meetings such as OAC and monthly project status reviews
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control (ICRA), and life safety requirements (ILSM)

Position Requirements

You should possess the following qualifications for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
• Minimum 8+ years of construction experience with strong healthcare project experience required

Proven experience with:

• Hospital renovations and expansions
• Work in occupied/active healthcare environments
• Experience managing phasing, infection control measures, and complex MEP systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in highly regulated environments
• Ability to support and grow healthcare client relationships and business development efforts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good client management skills and ability to lead teams through the preconstruction and construction process, especially with healthcare systems and facility teams
• Bluebeam experience/capability desired
• Procore experience/capability desired
