Job description

Looking for an opportunity where success comes naturally? Then you may have found your crew. We’re looking for a Project Estimator to join our team.

Here’s what you’d do:

The Project Estimator will review plans and prepare bid information for commercial landscape construction and irrigation projects.

You’d be responsible for:

• Gathering, calculating, and compiling take off data for use in bid proposal estimates.
• Preparing routine estimates and detailed cost estimates for ancillary projects under the supervision of the Preconstruction Manager.
• Maintaining current and accurate information on prices from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Utilizing standard estimate computer software to present information to management.
• Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity.

You might be a good fit if you have:

• Minimum of 5 years of construction industry estimating experience for hardscape or building construction projects.
• Degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Strong work ethic.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:

• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with HCSS, Bluebeam, or Procore.
• Proficient with On-Screen Take-Off a plus.
