Job summary

Brunel in New Orleans seeks a Project Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams on capital projects from concept to handover. You will oversee scope, schedules, budgets, safety and technical integrity across disciplines, coordinating with PM, procurement, construction and operations.

The role requires driving engineering readiness and delivering a complete, constructible design. The position includes a 4-week rotation in New Orleans and 1 week of work-from-home, with travel accommodations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• Master’s degree in engineering with 8+ years of experience.
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams on major capital projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering interfaces with procurement and contracting.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams through all project phases.
• Develop and manage engineering execution strategy with scope, schedule and budgets.
• Own engineering performance within cost, schedule, quality and safety goals.
• Coordinate and integrate engineering disciplines for constructible designs.
• Interface with PM, Controls, Procurement, Contracts, Construction, Commissioning and Operations.
• Manage engineering resources, staffing, workload and future needs.
