Job summary

Rogers Electric is seeking motivated students for its Full Circuit Internship Program. This ten-week internship places you with a local construction team and a dedicated mentor to gain hands-on experience from bid through closeout.

You'll collaborate with Project Managers, Project Engineers and field leaders, contribute to meetings and site visits, and use construction-management software to document deliverables and progress.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Rising senior or graduating senior.
• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Construction or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to participate in the full ten-week program.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support an active electrical construction project with Project Managers, Project Engineers and field leaders.
• Maintain project documentation including submittals, RFIs, drawings, meeting notes and material-tracking logs.
• Assist with project scheduling, procurement, change-order documentation and closeout activities.
• Participation in project meetings and jobsite visits.
• Learn how project teams monitor labor, cost, schedule, safety and quality.
• Gain exposure to Preconstruction, Safety, Finance, HR and other teams involved in project delivery.
• Use industry technology and construction-management software.
• Complete weekly deliverables as part of a collaborative, full-lifecycle project simulation.
• Present project work and recommendations to Rogers leaders.
